Content Producer
All of the assessment content available through SOLAR has been developed using the ContentProducer e-assessment and eLearning development product. Its sector leading functionality allows the use of not only development of simple multiple choice and multiple response questions but the use of video and an unlimited range of more complex question types.

Installation
CP is an online authoring system with all content stored on a central server. Before installing the CP authoring client you must first install the MS .net framework from MS. You can now download the CP client and install it on your PC. If you require more information please contact the SOLAR Helpdesk.

Question Types
In some instances, standard question types are not suitable for assessing a particular skill or piece of knowledge, and advanced or innovative item types are required. These question types are easily accommodated using ContentProducer's question extensions. ContentProducer, in addition to providing all of the standard question types, allows for the rapid development of question extensions. This enables, for example, randomly generated mathematical questions, simulated environments and replicated applications to be rapidly authored from templates, by authors with limited training.
