HTML Delivery Training Guides

Our new HTML versions of video guides are now available, these are the most comprehensive versions we have created. These video guides are for all users from beginner to experienced staff and will update as the system changes. Please note that they are interactive and can be paused and move forwards or backwards within the content. These guides contain audio and transcription.

How to Assess (Links) Description

Schedule a Test - HTML 

 Scheduling and test delivery for HTML through the Browser, (Chrome/ Safari). Use of filters to find and sort tests, Keycode information, test states, and creating invigilation packs.

Edit a Test and Void a Test - HTML 

 Editing a test, date and time only. Options for deleting or void a scheduled a test.  

Bulk Schedule of Test - HTML

 Scheduling large numbers of candidates for a single test. This includes .CSV file update and upload and finding candidate keycodes.

Invigilation - HTML

 Additional security for a test where required. Details of set up during scheduling a test and release information for invigilated tests for candidates on delivery.

Human Marking - HTML 

 Finding scripts with human marked items for a test. Details of assigning and submitting marks, reviewing marking instructions, leaving comments, and reviewing marking history. 

Results, Reporting and Candidate Breakdown - HTML 

 How to find and provide feedback for candidates on a test. View candidate results, item responses and other different types of reporting features.

Create a Single Candidate  HTML

Creating a single candidate record on SOLAR. Dummy candidate creation, setting reasonable adjustments (assessment arrangements) for candidates and connecting them to required subject(s). (Use Helpdesk form for centre transfer.)
Mass Upload of Candidates HTML

Creating multiple candidates and amending SOLAR records. How to use and upload the .CSV file. (Use Helpdesk from for centre transfer.)

Edit a Candidate Record HTML

 Amending candidate SOLAR record information. Viewing and editing retired or expired candidate records. Adding subjects and other candidate record functions.
Candidate Review  Flash  How to schedule and review candidate scripts and/or work with the candidate for feedback or prior to re-assessment (SurpassViewer required). HTML test version not currently available.

Edit a User  HTML 

SOLAR Coordinator only - How and what you can edit in a SOLAR User's account. Email restrictions, account expiry dates, retiring accounts and re-set of password/security questions.
